AGRI-EXPO (SE)

Agri-Expo (se) has become one of, it not the largest “farmer owned” agricultural business shows in The UK. Once again we will be welcoming more new exhibitors to the fastest growing land-based Industry Show in The South East. Agri-Expo showcases the very best machinery, supplies and services available to farmers, land-owners, amenity and landscape specialists at the prestigious Kent Showground located just off the M20 / M2 in Kent. Agri-Expo is set to break previous record numbers of exhibitors who have joined the show to take advantage if its growth and recognition as one of the “must attend” business shows in the agricultural event diary.

As well as giving exhibitors an opportunity to promote their businesses, Agri-Expo (SE) is keen to promote education, training, business development, diversification opportunities and collaborative projects. The organisers work continually to support education and training as well as highlighting other industry developments and announcements as and when they arise. We very much hope that Agri-Expo gives our visitors the opportunity to meet old and new friends as well as the suppliers of machinery, inputs, advice and support to help farming enterprises in the years of change ahead.

With this in mind, our seminars this year will focus on post-BREXIT farming, with a Breakfast Meeting on grain marketing at 8.30am hosted by Fen Grain and our Headline Seminar at Midday which brings together a wealth of expertise to guide you through the recent announcement made by Mr Michael Gove on his plans for a new greener subsidy recipient plan for the future. Both Seminars will be held in the Astor Pavilion and are free to attend.

The show has received strong interest from European machinery manufacturers this year, confirming the South East as an important gateway into the UK for some major names in agricultural equipment. This year we will welcome companies from The Netherlands and Portugal

2018 will see increased numbers of exhibitors from the landscape, amenity and plant hire sectors, confirming Agri-Expo as the leading land-based industry show for the South East

Agri-Expo will once again be hosting a range of seminars and meetings, as well as a dedicated area for Precision and Farming Technologies. For further details please click on Agri-Expo 2018 Seminars and Meetings page.

It can be difficult for farmers and growers to evaluate the benefits of new equipment just by looking through a catalogue, and shopping around is difficult if you need to visit several different dealerships to compare what is on offer. Another area where Agri-Expo offers an extra dimension is in professional services, where visitors have the opportunity to talk to rural planners, agents, contractor and law firms, which in our view can be invaluable. Being able to chat to the experts about a new project without making a formal appointment to go and see them is really useful. There are very few events where visitors can see not only the latest releases and machinery developments but have the opportunity to discuss all aspects of their farming and rural business AND restock the workshop all at the same time!

As well as giving exhibitors an opportunity to promote their businesses, Agri-Expo (SE) is keen to promote education, training, business development, diversification opportunities and collaborative projects, through the official show website the organisers will work over the coming year to support education and training news and opportunities as well as highlighting other industry developments and announcements as and when they arise

The showground is within easy reach of the M20 and M2 and will be signed on the motorways, signs will also be on the A249 as you approach Detling

We are very keen on encouraging seminars and have a host of further thoughts and ideas to develop Agri-Expo in years to come. After all, this is your show as a visitor, built and designed for everyone involved in land-based industry and committed to promoting agriculture.

Please do take every opportunity to let us know what you would like to see!
