Mine is RTK Farming. They are getting quite a wide spread over the Country but as for yourself, No idea what part of the country or even world you are from. R Ps didn't win the Lottery so out of the market for that Lincolnshire farm.where are you all buying it from, as iv been quoted £1100 from agco dealer. £600 ish is what iv been told before.
That’s pretty cheap for TopNET. I’ve heard other Topcon dealers wanting £950 per year for the same thing.I am paying £650 a year for Topcon's Topnet service. I provide my own sim card.
Pretty handy markup for the dealers then!I have set up an account direct with topcon so I'm not going through a dealer. The prices I was quoted are below:
TopNet AG Licenses
Item Code Description Price
TNRTKAG-12 TopNet AG 12 months £650.00
TNRTKAG-6 TopNet AG 6 months £500.00
TNRTKAG-3 TopNet AG 3 months £300.00
Without sim card provided from us
The theory behind a roaming SIM is that it will lock onto the strongest mobile signal in the area, such that you are not constrained to one particular network operator if their signal is rubbish in that area. Saying that if you know a particular network is good (or bad) (for data) in a given area you can just use a regular network SIM card which will be cheaper. Horses for courses.thanks for all posts. Is there any advantage of roaming sim. We are drilling on farms in a 20 mile radius.
I was quoted £625 a year for the signal and a roaming sim by RTK farming.
