Another inch of rain over night. I noticed our nesting Mallards have vacated their pond and are using a rye grass ley to swim and feed. Not the magic we were looking for!

Fecking depressing this morning , very wet over night and calf shed is a inch in water and not sure what to do with them, no empty space and water is coming through the floor (spring mostly likely ):cry::banghead::banghead:

Monday felt just like spring here, yesterday and today are just like autumn, still the slurry lagoon is half full, really need to get some more spread but not only is every where still wet in places but can barely see due to low fog so is rather dangerous to be heading out onto the main road. Fields are in need of harrowing aswell and rolling in places but spreading fert today as is the lightest machine to go on the fields but really need some sun and dry weather

Auch it looks rightly. I'd be happy with that, and just drive around the wet spots down there on the flat! ;) . Wouldn't get much work done here if I waited for the wet spots to dry . Lots of nice green fields now on the farm, with occasional yellow corners and dishes throughout.(y)

Great old tractor those. Cousin used to have one. You could hear the whistle and snort coming half a mile off. Back in the good old days before they electrified the life out of tractors and made them dead as a door nail with egr rubbish.
