Jcb 814 hydraulic pump repair

hi just wondering if anyone knows of someone who can rebuild the hydraulic pumps for this machine or supply new. I'm struggling to find information on these. They are triple hamworthy/David brown pumps. Cheers in advance

Guessing this to be the same..........£740 plus VAT or thereabouts I think it said when I was logged in......

If it is a Hamworthy / David Brown triple pump they are not repairable as they are a two piece pump. So your only option is to buy a new unit.

What are people’s opinions. Do you think it would be best off buying new or get a second hand one?what would be the cost difference?

All depends on price but I would always go new unless you can see the hyd pump working or can get it tested before you buy it.

more often than not your buying someone else's problem when it comes to second hand pump and best case scenario a pump on a machine of that age has been around a hell of a lot of times by now and you can be sure all the horses arent standing in it anymore.
but if the finances were a constraint then you may get lucky altho the norm for a pump out of a breakers yard round here is it comes with a tail light warranty.
