Ours was planted about 10 days ago, it should be liking this weather. It needs a bit of a kick up the arse, it's a bit slow to get going.
Hope you get on with it , we have put it in where you filmed the pillar laser drill working so all will be able to see our failier if it happens.
No point just plodding on got to give things a try and look forward either way the farming road could be bumpy .

That’s normal, Soya needs a huge amount of N ( 240kg/ha ) which obviously it’ll fix itself but the crop is often slow until the rhizobium kicks in. It’s noticeable when it happens. As soon as you’ve got the true ( hairy ) leaves you can relax a bit. When you get to harvest don’t be tempted to desiccate too early as it will rob yield.

I would try some but I have too cold and and heavy land too far north

Any one dried later drilled notill peas
To hit the warmer temperature in the seed bed on heavy moisture retentive soils

Most peas on Traditional on lighter easier land

Heavier land later drilled after all the wet weather could avoid the wet aether diseases

Bit of a mixed bag so far. Some coming well, other bits are having a serious attack from an unknown pest:

Cover crop, had sheep on it in feb to eat it down as wanted to get a spring flush of sterile broom . You are right the pillar laser dischoe drill does move a fair bit of soil it was raked and ring rolled after drilling .
