I see the lord's are going out of their way to muddle up brexit, reforming/ removing the HOL was my secondary intention after leaving the Eu, but one is after protecting the other because they know there might be an appetite for removing unelected people on the tax payers teat, they seem to be making the job alot easier of moving on to them.

People will say the Lords are just doing their job, aye, i bet if the government went for the softest brexit available, the lords would go one step further and try and halt us from any separation.

But, but, but, ........ The HOL in this case, are taking away the power of “a” cabinet, within “the” cabinet, to do what they bleddy well want with the welfare of future generations, and hand supervisory authority over to “Parliment”.

What a victory for democracy that is!!

The HOL will also be there to calm the excesses of your next Trotskyite PM, Jeremy Corbyn. You will be pleased with the old farts when that day comes around!!!

This government can do what it likes, in a democracy, when the next election comes up, if the public deem them to have done wrong, they vote against them , i frankly see no reason why the Lords exist, what the tories are doing, is exactly what they set out to do in their election, that's their mandate, what mandate do the Lords have?

This is where the remainer arguments come to die, apparently brexit was a vote of the old, yet they're now trusting the old to do their bidding? either it's the youth of todays vote, of which there are alot more younger people in the commons , or they're not, everyone can see through it that it's a powergrab and they will use anyone they can to get their bulls**t through.

The vassal state is about to be born. I’m of course quoting the guy whose name I can’t mention. You know, the 18th century one!
Five years of purgatory coming up for the Mujahadeen and the flat earther, last and final lost tribe of Israel the DUP!!!

Tory hard brexiteers only got their self to blame, EFTA / EEA off the shelf could solve all this now and we'd be out to focus on the next steps.

The house of lords used to be made up of the rich who at the very least understood the social problems associated with running estates and having to look after a large workforce that needs healthcare and good living conditions etc. That link has pretty much gone.

If Westminster had not gold plated EU legislation and actually fought the EU for reform then we probably would not have Brexit.

The Lords pointing out they are "Doing their job" IMHO helped create Brexit .. both houses need reform to become accountable. Having a bunch of rich people who feel guilty about their tax dodging and therefore want to use other peoples money to help the 3rd world ? No thanks.

Don’t you just love ‘em. ..... the brave, unselfish, patriotic, fearless Brexiteers ...... constantly putting ones life, limb and wealth on the line for Great Britain. One is moved to tears actually by their unrelenting unselfish acts on behalf of the country. Constantly thinking first and foremost about the ordinary working man and woman plus the small businesses and farmers etc., .....

Corbyn whipping his party to vote against staying in the single market, @Ashtree explain?

“The SM” ...... fudge will be “a SM” .... but it’s acedemic now in any case. Whip or no whip, the parliment in concert with the mood of the country will prevent the hard Brexit. It’s game over for the Taliban.
Smarmy Barnier, this morning handed the solution to Britain. An EEA agreement along with a version of CU membership. In other words “a CU”.
I’m glad for you guys really. Jobs of ordinary decent Joe the plumber protected. Good day all round.
Of course the other elephant in the room now is American madness. Trying to have a free trade agreement or any kind of agreement with the new America is nothing other than shooting ones self in the foot.
