Anyone suggested a local cortizone injection? It might be temporary but any relief is good when you are suffering badly. Strange though it’s only one toe.
Copper braclets and such like didn’t work for me. Giving up caffine and tea didn’t help either. Metatrexate on the other hand would give you a fighting chance with Bolt!

I think it’s largely self inflicted from working on the floor with one knee down and toes bent forward. Similar position to a sprinter in starting blocks

No harm in trying one, they only cost a few quid (have another look down the back of that sofa!)
A friend of mine had carpal tunnel in both wrists, while waiting for surgery she tried a copper bracelet and it improved quite a bit. Slightly different complaint though.

I tried a copper bracelet once , and all I got was a black/green mark on my wrist . Mind you , I got a similar mark on my wrist from a gold wristlet that I bought in Shanghai . He said it was genuine too ! Perhaps my skin is different .

I’ve ended up back on naproxen 1 a day which has significantly improved the job
