Looking at the dates it hasn't sped up quite as much as I would have expected as we have got into June. Is this your experience @dontknowanything @Simon Chiles

Probably just the year, my blue lupins have done the same, they’ve stood still for weeks ( we didn’t help the job by knocking them a bit hard with a herbicide) but they’re starting to grow a bit more vigorously now. I dug one up and it’s nodulating well, I think the plants put a lot into feeding the rhizobium knowing they’ll get paid back later which could also account for the apparent stalling.

Looks like it has really started to motor on in the last couple of days now it has started to get the nodules on the roots , next weekends pictures will see a big change in the crop I recon.

I have had to write mine off. Summer cover crop and then cereal. Frustrating because it worked pretty well last year, but there is a real challenge balancing soil temp and moisture I have found.
