NH GPS guidance

A friend has just bought a T7, it's got a intelliview 4 and plm sticker on the door but not steer ready from what I can tell. He wants to run guidance only through the screen for the time being and asked me if it's possible, but I'm only clued up with the full autosteer setup.

Can he fit a basic loom and antenna that will do this, Or does he have to go down the route of the full steer loom and nav controller?

Also, what does the plm sticker on the door reference of its not a steer ready tractor?

If you take the gray cover off behind the passenger seat and there is plugs in there you should be able to plug a nav controller straight in and it will be autosteer ready, also if you lucky there may be a nav controller in there ! I know of a couple that had them in and no one knew !

Try to contact a local dealer and give them a serial number of the tractor. They can check it if it is AGR or not. Also, ask them about Intellisteer lite system. It should be cheaper than a full autopilot.

From my experience setting up the intellisteer lite system on my sprayer, the intelliview screen only like talking to its own stuff so I’d say if he wants to use the screen his only options are the ‘lite’ system or a nav controller and 372 on the roof plus all the cables and valve, well worth checking under cover behind passenger seat, might be his lucky day!

Thanks for all the replies, I had a look under the bonnet and it didn't have the autosteer orbital unit/valve block, it's also got the low plastic panel behind the passenger seat so no room to fit a Nav controller, that would have been a nice surprise though! I'm wondering if the dealer or previous owner has removed the autosteer ready components.

I haven't heard of the Intellisteer light before, is that simply just guidance? Does it require a Nav controller?

It’s a bolt on steering wheel job, comes with its own nav but runs through CNH screen, works ok, I’ve got the case branded one, electristeer.

So that would be a rebranded trimble ez pilot?

I will mention it to him but he wasn't really looking for steering just guidance at the moment.
It’s a little different, as I had one of those knuckle killers!! Think I’ve a short clip from when I got the sprayer set up, I’ll look. It just works out cheaper as you already have screen and I wanted to use my 372 that’s already got RTK radio on it, I just switch between tractor and sprayer

I can't get a video of it to load so this is just it when I was fitting it to give an idea.
