I'm thinking of buying a 234 , I have the older hitechs which have been great tractors , my t190 is now 15 years at front line work , so I'm thinking of trading up , the new valtras have 3 differant transmissions , am I better off sticking with the hitech or are the newer types worth it. Anyone got the new T 4 series , how are they going. Thanks.

I'd go for Versu atleast. Direct if you can afford one, they seem to have sorted out the problems. Difference between Versu and Direct was 10k€ a month ago though.

Only 2 gearbox options. Main difference from Hitec5 to active is hydraulic pump. From Active to Versu it’s mainly electric hydraulics and then that just leaves to direct with the vario gearbox.
