40ml per tonne!!!
That just reinforces my scepticism

Looks to be doing a job. We are already fed the original 50ac of 1st cut and are on the bulk now but it is holding up very well will no side or top waste or heating (albeit we get across the face fast).
Makes a massive difference only carrying 50 litres of mix rather than hanging x2 200 litres drums off the arse of the SPFH and having to change barrels on a regular basis.

Arrived this morning, fantastic service. Thanks @Great In Grass (y)

Have you used that before?
No not used forage gold +fructan from Great in grass before. Have used powerstart years ago, and been using pioneer 1188 after that. Didnt use anything last year, and struggled all winter to get the cows to eat the silage. Didn't have the cash early in the spring when everyone was pushing their spring deals. And not too happy to be needing to pay over a third more at this time of year !
Had read on here about Great in grass, and by the sounds of it he has plenty of happy customers, so thought i would give him a go.

2 nd year here, last years 3rd and 4th cuts went in v wet so we expecting a pile of crap mush out, silage is feeding and analysed v well even though only 20%dm. Havent used any this years 1st cut as we had near perfect conditions and high sugars but its ready when we need it

I'm selling it and don't have to pay for it but if using it in 'ideal' conditions I think you'd be pleasantly surprised by the results.;)

Came up on my notifications that someone had liked a post, thought inwould give an update.
Had 3/4 of a bay of silage left over from 2017 (the no additive year) that the cows have just finished last week, milk was down 150 litres a day cows didn't like it at all left lots in the feed passage, chucked a lot of it out after the cows have had their pick not nice stuff at all. Back on last years silage now, intakes are back up, milk is nearly there, cows clearing all the silage, the forage gold additive well worth it ?
