I was looking into becoming a pig farmer or a famer of pigs, cows, lambs for meat and wonder the sorts of cost of feeding pig and then getting it butcher and so on and so forth any help thankyou

Seamus.

Your asking for the length of a price of string apologies if this is blunt but you need to bring a lot more info on type of pig rearing or breeding target market etc etc I can only give info on my set up which guessing won’t be any thing like your planning so cost structure will be completely different

For small scale pig (from your post I assume you are not experienced or have much knowledge) - ie for say up to x 3 looking around £80 - £120 each worth of food at a time. Weaner cost say £25. Butchery, abattoir etc around £40 onwards depending on what you want to do with it. Things like sausages add extra, fancy cuts, vac pack, labelling onwards. You need refrigeration at home so add on cost of walk in fridge.

We stopped doing direct sell a while ago as costs were too high. Direct sell on works if you have continuous turnover and buyers. For us we only do it for own freezer and odd friend. Best go on The accidential smallholder forum there are some cracking people on there who have done their maths.
