Just bought a static caravan what sort of weight are they?

I’ve only a rear hitch on a Discovery also won’t be nimblest in tight going! Was thinking of using a Gator, do manoeuver heavy sheep silage trailers but unsure if it would be man enough?!

Failing that may borrow bosses compact tractors.

Sod all. Can push them around by hand no problem. Surprising how little is in them. Just awkward to get shifted being a short drawbar usually. We shift them around with loadall

Could weigh around 4 ton. Would be best to move it with a compact tractor. If you are running across any grassed areas, run the caravan wheel on some track boards. If you get one stuck , the only way to get it out is to jack it up.
Hard standing that end and we’ve plenty of room so tractor our end.

Ok thanks will take some boards there’s, a short stretch of lawn.
