Steve Bananon interview about Brexit & Trump

China has decimated almost the whole of it's coastline, air pollution so bad peopel wear masks and they of course use dirty energy.

And we've imported millions and millions of tonnes of products .. you're not making sense .. Green legislation & Climate Change legislation specifically harms only Western companies.

IMHO this is being done for the same reason we have Foreign Aid.

Oh ffs, since when did you care about air quality in China?

The Chinese were literally starving to death in the 50s, and have undergone a rapid phase of industrial and economic development. EXACTLY as we in the West have done, every man jack of us went through a period where the environment got waylaid because of the need for a drive in growth and prosperity. It will happen again and again and again in developing nations until they are wealthy enough to do something about it now they aren't dying of disease or starving to death.

The days of tonnes of heavy industry in the UK are gone. Forget it, gone. You don't have the workforce, they don't have the skills and furthermore, they don't want to do the bloody job and who can blame them? Not only that but Western labour is expensive and better done by machine.

It will happen in China as well.

You know when these jobs went over to Japan, Germany and China .. did they have the skills ? did they have the work force ?

30,000 very well paid Steel jobs lost .. jobs which any average man and woman could raise a family from and a good pension .. possibly good health care as well. Replaced by what ? Cleaning ? Flat pack art ? Zero hours contracts ?

The excuses you come up with are pathetic .. Germany has great manufacturing but the UK has declined and you obviously don't care.

Not everyone wants a desk job .. I can't see the point in even debating it with you. Your arguments are none existant, stop wasting both our time. If there are enough people like me we will make it happen.

You are wasting your time.

I dont my kids working in a fekking steel mill thanks. Its a dead end industry and these jobs will only move to other countries in future, even China will eventually find that industry looks abroad for cheaper labour because their young people look to do better things.

How in the hell can you compete with a country whose GDP per capita is barely 7000 dollars?

Do you think you will have any real control over the career your child takes ?

If everyone in the country decided that my child should not do X career there soon would be no jobs left.

I don't think you can see beyond your bias .. all jobs are valid. It's sad .. I'm leaving it there because all you have against it is emotional opposition like a child or a teenager.

You know the best fighter craft in the world ? The metal structure is made using presses, HUGE presses in foundries. It's actually tech from WW2 Germany were they found the tensile strength of metals was greately improved by pressing hot metals. Leads to lighter aircraft etc ..

IMHO your bias is limiting your understanding of the world around you. I'm gonna go watch some more interesting videos.

Yawnnn... best fighter craft in the world... jaysus you are scraping the barrel now.

I dont care particularly about any sector or industry on a personal level. I view business through a completely detached and pragmatic but realistic prism.

You seem to have some good old days rose tinted and obscure view of what an economy 'should' do. That mindset is 50 years out of date.

The future is in designing and marketing and pioneering. Not being a manufacturing robot or drone for someone else. That ship sailed years ago. There is a small number of genuinely skilled or artisanal roles which it would never make economic sense for a robot to do.

There is no point in trying to develop a new steel or aluminium or coal industry now. Its pointless. As other developing countries become more stable they too will chase those industries trying to offer them access to lots of readily trained and low cost labour. You cannot compete with countries who are only looking for 5000 dollars of output per worker.

You've made all these arguments before.

It's the same kind of argument you get put by journalists who have no idea what they are talking about.

Aluminium will most likely be in the new battery technology. BTW a new aluminium plant is being built in Slovakia to supply the new £ 1 Billion Land Rover car plant.

Pointless talking to someone so out of touch.

You are out of touch.

Go away and find out why they built an 'aluminium plant' in Slovakia.

Then tell me how many workers will be required.

It is pointless using British labour in these industries any longer.

Oh I already know. It's to avoid Climate Taxes and use cheap energy.

It's pointless having nay sayers like you . you'll buy into anything to denegrate the UK population.

You don't even recognise the harm Climate Taxes and EU regulation causes all UK industry .. it's like talking to a wet dish cloth.

Thats false sorry...you should give up when it comes to mining related topics.
