Nothing exciting today really, spent all morning at the accountants for our annual review. Got to pay some tax:(. Then waited round for a grain wagon that decided to come tomorrow instead!

Then about half an hour ago get a call “there’s a car in your field” so went to investigate.

Then the recovery wagon got stuck:facepalm:

Ended up dragging them both out!
Car was a right of thought, don’t even know how they managed to get it in the field on a straight bit! And it was two women that where old enough to know better!!!

I hope you charged the recovery wagon’s owners; because they would take a fair few shekels off you if you broke down on a busy road and the plod called them in to shift your car!

I don’t normally charge genuine people for some assistance, but a recovery firm is a totally different matter.

To be honest I told him to go in the field rather than damage my hedge dragging it back out that way, so felt a bit bad when he got stuck! I’m to soft I know:oops:

Showing a buyer round all the cattle tonight from Gaerwen. Balmy warm but the cattle look OK on the lack of forage.

Delighted to announce I've recruited three new Riggit Galloway breeders; Norfolk, North Wales and Scotland with cattle leaving late August after TB and health testing

33 degrees today and over 26 now!

Past few days, been irrigating one of the horse paddocks. Sisters horses are all veterans now and one of them doesn't eat hay that well so though we might try growing a bit of grass for him. Got our MF 35 on the pump as only running a few sprinklers.

Uncles been busy making up brackets to fit these to the trailers after some of the winter barley went up in smoke. Straps will be fitted to hold the extinguishers in place.
