Horse friendly ROW barriers?

We've had a couple of 'drive-thru' visits - not for burgers but for burgling. Wooden gates driven through, galv gates chains cut or ground. Access up a bridleway and then off wherever the mood takes them.

Looking to put in a horse friendly barrier - maybe two. Have seen these from secure-a-field www.secure-a-field.co.uk - they are between £600 - £700 inc posts etc which seems reasonable to avoid the faff of making something similar. Would allow m/cycle access though :(

What's anyone else using to allow tractors and trucks proper use but not the 4WD brigade - and without upsetting the 4Legged brigade of course

The horse friendly barrier appeals - but will prob run it by the County PROW dept first. The bridleways here are well used and we are friendly with most of the regular riders but I reckon the average horse will need to be cajoled through that gap - I don't want the council saying we've obstructed the row.

We also run farm vehicles along it as well as tractors - pickup, 4wd van etc so need ground clearance on any obstruction

We haven't used this specific barrier, but have used lots of secure a field products in the last 18months and everything has been spot on and of top quality.

We have the advantage they are on our doorstep, the lads there can never do to much to help, they are not the interested in cheap rubbish, slightly off topic but there tImber posts are now coming with a 15year guarantee as opposed to the 5 or no guarantee front the other local suppliers who might be 70p a post cheaper but it's a lesser product.

I don't normally bother recommending people as it can come back and bite you but honestly feel secure a field deserve a mention.
