Can you not get a donor ECU from a jeep with the same engine code?
Or will that not work in them? What are you going to write in its place if you wipe the original file?
Best back it up first, then decide ..............

Are you having trouble recognizing the Ignition key by any chance?

As its immobilizer work very few if anyone will entertain helping you without proof of ownership of the vehicle.

But try DigitalKaos.com
You will have to register and be patient.
If you give false details that don't tally with your IP address you will be banner from the site.
They will have the necessary files and knowledge you need.

EEProm Reader here click but check with the suppler that it will read your chip especially as its surface mounted (sitting on the top of the board) I think.

Shout if you think I can be of any further help .........

No match found, for a file to copy.
Did you try a locksmith they might be able to work off the chassis number of the jeep?

Yes but that's not enough information, if you tip over to digital kaos.com you will see they need more information than that to write a new file to download onto the EEPROM

Yes it will take them a few days to register you as a new user?

If you already have an account, double check your password.

Open the ECU and take a photo- the immob chip will be one of a handful of proprietary epproms - but not all are 'erasable' - i.e. to make the ecu free-running..
