LED lights causing radio interference

10 x 39w oval GO625's on my 7499 & two KLs i think they are 28w each.
if someone made a direct oval flush replacement LED of the same quality for upper front of these massey cabs
id buy 8 of them & change both tractors that have them totally useless 55w hella halogens in from new.
The Light transformation is unreal
Think we have some of that style coming and to clarify - the EMC standard we use is highest I know at class CISPR25 CLASS 4. Will verify soonest can in coming week.

some stats from these Oval Nordics i use.

Agree Nordic lights are great and no issue with them. You miss out what I believe to be one of the most important stats which is LUX value. This being the measurement of light at a given distance away from the light. In other words no matter how many lumen a light has it is irrelevant if the lens quality is useless and cannot project it forward with accuracy and quality. I am certain Nordic LUX will be up there with the best as we are with our premium lights.

N4402 Nordics here on tractor, handler and 360.

The body is solid cast alloy, fully powder coated black and IP68 rated. Salt spray certified. Built in fins on the back for cooling. There is a built-in male 2-pin Deutsch connector on the fitting.

They were literally a plug and play job on the tractor as that has Deutsch connectors for existing work-lights on rear fenders and on same mounting stalks as indicators on front. They are also supplied with a female Deutsch DT connector and socket contacts so you can always crimp them onto your existing leads.

Available with various lenses for beam patterns including wide flood, flood and pencil beam. I’m looking at fitting the latest generation Pro 445’s onto the roofline of the tractor, to completely replace the last of the halogens and go full LED.

They are an investment no doubt, but you can always move them to new machines.

If you don't mind me asking where did you connect the suppressor?
Red wire to battery then the positive coming off the suppressor went to the radio then the - had to go to an earth which looked solid, the radio still works but it has made no difference when I turn the lights on

No aftermarket type of suppression will do much id say. Its the electronics that drive the LEDs thats the issue, cheaper ones just save money in there build by not bothering there arse to put it bluntly.

CE from what I’ve heard is a self certifying scheme. For an EU manufacturer there may well be some issues with a self certified product which is found to be non compliant, but for everyone else outside of EU jurisdiction it’s open season on selling cheap ‘CE certified’ crap to all and sundry.

Are the quality Nordic type lights available as a simple direct swap for NH, or do you have to fudge about with wire cutters and spade connectors with the cabs head lining in bits?
If they have Deutsch connectors they plug straight in. However, the lights are supplied with a DT06-2S plug and contacts. I can also supply DT04-2P receptacles that you can fit to your old lights, so that you can fit them back on the machine if you decide to sell it in the future.

Looking on Nordics website but there is so many different models on there, Whitchurch are the best and brightest with a good been pattern without costing loads
What is the application you are looking to illuminate? There is a large selection but we can sort the right ones to suit you. My contact number is 07787573634 if you want to discuss the options. Thanks Graham

Does that go straight into the alternator

The wire connects to the large output termninal on the alternator and you give it a good earth through the mounting tab. On the outside will be fine, keep in mind you might have to move it for best results.

Try connecting it to the wire supplying the LED's if the alternator doesn't do the trick.
Also worth trying it connected to the supply on the radio ...........

Earth both ends of the aerial lead, a jump lead will be fine to test (connect to the negative on the battery and the base of the aerial.
