I didn’t get along to that ring to see, but was told by several people that there was a lot of rubbish there that struggled to find any bids, but the (few) good ones were selling OK.

Charollais were on fire, with entries being down. Probably be swamped out again next year as a result.:banghead:
Summed up by first seller who passed his rams , going back through ring and making an extra £100.
Had a nibble at Last Oakchurch ram but came home empty.

Nah, everyone around here has sold their cows and got sheep. As I keep saying to the missis, “this time next year...”:D
Seriously, ever since your vote the French government have leaned the sub to increasing lamb production. Good on um, I say(y)

The French government has been trying increase the size and quality of the National flock since before the referendum, brexit has just likely become a ‘reason’ for doing so. They want to be less reliant on imports and good on them. They have a warm climate suited to it and could thrive given the right direction.
Hence why AHDB and the like should of been trying to open up Asian and Arab markets many moons ago, but Europe market is easy, was supposedly always going to be there and required no effort, but they still got our levy money.
