thanks for posting this my 750 which is on Egnos has been a bit of a problem too. There are times when the screen will just slowly rotate, On Friday it obviously became the future "A gadget that took over my World" but I won I turned it Off. turning back on it then rotated, turned off turned back on and tottaly wiped the field had then no visible sattelites atall SO. swaped screen into sprayer which also has a 750 and didnt change my life So put Sprayer Antenna on JD and screen also seemed fine so thought ariel wire must be Ok. Swapped back to origina screen with sprayer antenna every thing went all day no problems over 35Ha of rolling so I am questioning the Antenna. See what happens when we try JD Antenna on Sprayer.

Thanks for that, pleased to hear I'm not the one having problems, Apart from the bigger, touch, screen and better recording software I can't see many improvements between the 250 and 750 performance wise. It may be that I use the 250 more (It's in my tractor, spraying and drilling)

Do you have terrain compensation or auto steer with the 750. I’ve found since last firmware upgrade that my screen loves to spin regularly. It’s to do with gyros though dealer says they’re probably on the way out. Unplugging the gyros stops the problem instantly, but bringing tractor to a halt and accessing setup screens also seem to stop it though not every time. Can go for weeks without a problem then unusable for a day or two another time.

Anyone else got a ez guide 150 still working?
Local dealer said it's kaput because it doesn't have option to switch to new satellite's.

Have you tried to upgrade the firmware to 7.75?

Need to check what version we're on, but probably not as I said I normally use the 250 which up until very recently as right up to date, I will check. Thanks.

Anyone in the North West had trouble with a ez guide 250? Mine is reading speed but wont show any coverage so don't know if it is broken or whether it is the upgrade needed. Either way I am desperate to find a solution as I have a full tank of pre em in the sprayer and three of the most awkward fields in Cheshire to spray it on. If I need to reboot the software is there anyone in the NW I could take it too as it would be beyond my computer skills?

A reboot is basically just turn it off and back on again. Restore factory settings is your next step which, from memory is done from the tools advanced menu.
There is a software upgrade available on this page which I haven't done yet, also make sure your 250 is set to the right satelite. (I have mine set to 'best available' which some say is wrong but normally works for me.

I something have mine set on auto satellite select. should it be on something different? I wiped the memory clean to see if it made any difference but no. Does the fact that it needs a software upgrade mean that it will no longer work on the old one?

Mine want off weeks ago but came back on on it's own just set on auto satellite find. Haven't used it for a week so not sure if it is still ok. I will have a day doing updates tomorrow.
EZ 250 is quite easy from memory just need to find a bland usb stick

Messing on with my 500 tother day,it sort of froze, could only get some menu up, Pressed Restore factory settings,now my remote start stop switch for coverage will not work.
