Barn/Out building wanted in the North West.

Hello all,

Following on from my earlier post, I have rewritten the thread with more information.

I'am from a well respected bus Preservation charity that has been running since 1987 and we are looking for secure undercover storage for some of our double decker buses, in the North West area.

We currently have some stored on a farm on the outskirts of Blackburn but that unit is full. Here we pay £45 per bus, per month.

We have around 25 buses that we'd like to put undercover but I appreciate that they probably won't all be kept together so it wouldn't be a problem if we found several farms in several places, as long as they are undercover. If somebody had room for one for instance, it would be a step towards our goal.

Our buses are no bigger than 33ft long, 8ft 2" wide and the tallest is 14ft 8", so a door height of 15ft would be needed. We only work at the weekends as it's a hobby and it's most certainly not every weekend either. All our buses are fully insured also.

If anyone has any ideas or can help in any way, it would be greatly appreciated.

Many, many thanks,
Lea Worrall.

that's better!

I am sure others will be along to comment. for those reading, based on a bus having a footprint off 264ft (call it 280) and they pay £45 pcm x 12 = £540 per annum that's £1.90 psf which I imagine sounds interesting for up north prices?!

height may be an issue though, can you let the tyres down a bit!?

good luck

Dont know how many you could fit in 25 mtr x 15 mtr but if you cant find anywhere else I could find the space just dont fancy driving a double decker or two up my access track. Right location though as I am not far from Blackburn.
