Good to see young lads getting on and making a good job. You will need some work to shift for them 2 lads and rigs!
We have plenty of drilling capacity for what we have to do but would rather it be that way and be able to drill a lot of ground quickly when the weather and conditions are right,rather than flying about in marginal conditions when the drill shouldn’t be in the field .

Had this land on a neighbors land about 5pm.took of again and slowly went over my bungalow missing the chimney by no more than 10feet then scraped over the hedge landing in another neighbors rape

Bit of steam/fog coming out of the ground with first pass with the plough earlier today.after about half an hour there was a lot of fog

Last bit of drilling of the year.come Monday everything will get washed and greased and put away till next July.will roll everything in tomorrow morning when the dew has gone

Been to knackered to be bothered posting much this week due to the kids and Mrs all been full of colds:hungover: and keeping me awake:(. Anyway here’s a catch up from this week.

Bit or a repair job on the neighbours 6930 exhaust. I knew it’s not pretty but it was a rush job!!

The old mans on vacation again! so been promoted to ploughing again (not just sure if it’s a promotion or not actually:unsure:).
Fed some gulls though.

Finished rolling what I drilled yesterday.come down really well considering the conditions.easy to see were plough ride out of the ground leaving parts of the field unlevel especially the headlands were I could drive a few yards till plough reached its depth.sure the spraying contractor will love it but all in and still desperate for rain.no moisture whatsoever ever were combine swath was and volunteers have grown.must soon get some rain but nothing forecast in next 2weeks.
