Some of my relatives are heading to London today for the "PEOPLE'S VOTE" march this afternoon. So lets hope democracy does have the final say. Rather than the bankrupt ideologies of a small number political elites and that the rest of parliament grows a spine and stands up to them. (y)

If I was nearer even I would be on that March, and I used to be UKIP.

Seeing how this whole sorry affair has unfolded has made it clear there is nobody in government who can actually run the UK independently from Europe, even if such a thing was now a practical, logistical or even desirable possibility in this global economy.

Enough's enough. It's a shambles as far I can see. Time to press the emergency stop and get real. We tried it but it doesn't work.

Surely opinions change over time? That's why we have a general election every few years
The same will happen with the in or out EU question
The new vote may come very soon or in 5/10 years time (or at the next election)
I fear this will dominate politics for decades to come
And the worst thing to come of it is the rift that has been declared through the population ---the folk i know that seem to reduce every problem to a Brexit origin within 5 minutes of speaking to them (from both sides) is incredible :(
