I’ve just noticed that 3rd is not selectable, I can get 1,2 and 4. Does that narrow things down? Thanks again for all your time.

Does it go into 3 in reverse? Our old one would not ho into 5 forward or 3 reverse of trailer switch was on.

Saw you buying that machine and it looked like a bargain to me for the size of machine, even without a top gear. I'm cautious about buying things at that sale... but come away from both the last two years autumn sales kicking myself after not bidding at a rowing up machine and a tedder that both went for peanuts.
