Hello. Have a hidraulik problem with the above tractor. Everything hidraulik related stopped working. I have removed the main filter and started the engine and noticed there was no oil flow. At first I thaught the oil was flowing from the pump placed outside the tractor towards the main filter so I removed the pump to check it. Everything seems to be just fine. Then after thinking it again I understood that the oil flow comes from within the tractor so I m guessing there is something wrong with the charge pump. I repeat there is no oil flow what so ever. I have removed the main filter housing to check if something is blocking the oil to come into the filter. Again everything allright there so should I go ahead and proceed in checking the charge pump? I wouldn t want to go there because I have to split the tractor. Could it be something else? TY!

So technically what you are saying is that my charge pump won't rotate because the rotation from the motor can't go through the clutch all the way to the gearbox?

Could be because I have removed the main screen and it was quite clean. I ll look into your advice on monday. But to check out the damper plate I still have to split the tractor don t I?

I could be wrong, but if it is the same or similar to an MTX,am near sure there is a nut or suchlike that can come loose on a shaft that is accessible through a plate underneath(?) possibly. Sorry for being vague but something rings a bell about it!!

First of all you need to check if any power is getting into the gearbox from the engine. There is a damper on the engine flywheel that could fail as already mentioned and a short driveshaft from the damper to the gearbox, these can both be viewed and replaced without splitting the tractor, just remove the half moon covers covering the shaft at the back of the engine. If the shaft had failed I think you would know about it as you would see /hear or feel something wrong.
If there is no oil coming out of the filter housing when you run it I would say the charge pump isn't turning. This drives off the Pto driveline through the gearbox and constantly turns with the engine. I have known one shear the gear off the front of that shaft inside the Powershift housing but you need to figure out how far the power is going through the transmission 1st.

Ok I ll look into it tomorrow. I still have everything off(the filter housing amd the pressure pump). I will turn the engine on for a bit and see if anything spins.

If the main pump is still off see if the drive gear for the pump turns when you crank the engine, if it doesn't your problem is between the engine and there, don't run the tractor for long like this as it will have no internal lubrication so could cause damage to bearings etc idealy just crank the engine briefly to check.

When I have splitted the pressure pump apart I took the main shaft out of the pump and tryed to rotate the other shafts with it. At the same time I was looking through the visitying plate underneath the tractor.I managed to rotate the gears which normally I don't think I could have. I also tryed what u said McMan to crank the engine and it doesn't spin.

Also when I cranked the engine I took a look at the clutch and the main shaft does rotate from the clutch to the gearbox so I don't think it's the damper plate.
