Still can’t believe people are panicking trying to get a couple of points here n there before their year is up, it’s so simple to go to a half day NSTS meeting once/year normally in jan/feb run by your local chemical suppliers, you get 10points and normally get lunch as well, it gets you enough points for the year and keeps you up to date with all the changes in the industry and the latest rules n regs
I sometimes go to the local firm, even though I never buy any chemicals from them . They charge me £45 for the privilege though .not all chemical suppliers do this, certainly my usual one doesnt.
And, No, I dont want to swap to a the local firm that does serviced agronomy and would lift my leg over expensive foliar feeds/wetters/unique to them fugicides etc

Don’t get me started. What a world where we have to collect points to drive a sprayer and satisfy some clip board hugger who charges us for the privilege.
Don’t get me started.
This morning I have my Crop Assurance inspection . Always puts me in a bad mood .
Thank youGood luck with it

When I’ve been to my local supplier there’s usually about 20 in the room, so if they are all paying £45 then a nice little earner for the agronomist for a mornings work at a time of year they wouldn’t be earning much .They aren't free to attend tho . Still charge you £20/£25. If you surry round during the year one can collect their points on the free.
Like you I just go to the jan meeting. Nice morning out, learn a little, free lunch
What a brilliant idea if it could be made to work.I sometimes go to the local firm, even though I never buy any chemicals from them . They charge me £45 for the privilege though .
Maybe @Clive could organise a webinar or similar . Get an agronomist off here to do a virtual meeting. We all chip in a tenner or something. Get our points and everyone’s happy .
