Looking for a 3M Claydon SR drill, needs to be radar metering to allow for variable rate drilling and ideally to have been converted to Claydon’s double tool bar (paddles and following tines)
Closer to Suffolk the better!

Dont think you can get radar on SR drills but you can get VR drilling if you upgrade MS box to an RDS Athene box with GPS

Thank for your reply, didn’t realise that is it an expensive and complicated job to convert from a MS to an RDS Athene box? Or would a early hybrid drill be a cheaper option?

Its not a complicated job, from memory the box plugs directly in and you need a simple link wire in junction box, a simple 2 min job.
Would recommend a hybrid if funds allow

Evening.
Based up in Northumberland with a Claydon hybrid for sale. Got the radar metering and double tool bar you are after along with a few more extras!
Nowhere near Suffolk I'm afraid but ready to go and in top nick [emoji108]

I could do that one for the same money but with a new Claydon batter board and following harrow supplied and fitted.

Tidy drill. But runs off landwheel currently. Has the original Ultron MS box - so it could be converted to RDS Athene for variable rate.
