Any one at the show today that could take a pic of a strimech bucket for me? Ideally with the model number.

It’s not the biggest one on the stand but the one behind it. Thanks

If you want the best deal on strimech buckets, give Robert Davies machinery a ring. He has a yard full of them.

I actually didn't miss the big names at all. Local dealers from the big players can fulfil most people's needs I'd imagine. It's nice to see the smaller/no local retailer companies, that's what makes it for me, anyway.

How much of the NEC space was actually used for this? It looked huge on the map but easily covered it in a few hours (less if not stopping to talk to as many) to make it into the premier ah show that people seem to want it needs to be changed into a charged show parking and entry (sensible price tho) to bring stand prices down and if there’s enough room incorporate some livestock as well

There are 20 halls at the NEC, some of which interconnect, its a very flexible large space. Only downside is they either cram in too much or spread it out in an illogical way!

bottom half of above pic all Lamma, top half Autosport show (y)

Interesting to see that tickets for the Autosport Show for the Trade days on Thurs/Fri are £30 in advance and £32 on the door, and tickets for the public days on Sat/Sun start at £34 and £39 on the door .......

Not exactly - we are a dealer for New Strimech buckets ourselves and their stand is only 2 or 3 away from ours so easy enough to get the pic (y)
Bought a Strimech Pro-Ag from @AgriLinc last year, brilliant well made buckets, I know a few TFF members have had problems with Strimech buckets but very pleased with it. (y)

Throughly enjoyed Tuesday when I went. Arrived around 10am after 3hrs drive from Suffolk, not a single car on the roads in, to the extent I thought I'd got lost! Parked in N11 so had a 10 min walk to the halls. Could've waited for a bus but fancied some fresh air after the drive. Stalls were laid out seemingly randomly compared to the tents previously, but if you're there to see everything anyway it doesn't really matter, and actually keeps it interesting.
To me it seemed quite busy, and it felt like more young people (good thing) and possibly more international visitors than previously (Also good thing).
My theory on the lack of the bigger players is that they were waiting to see what visitor numbers did at the new setup and if its been successful they may be back next year?
Not being cold was great, but loads of people were still in coats?!

I'd actually be happy to pay £10-20 for a ticket or parking if it increases what's on offer. Agritechnica is £27/day for 23 halls of stands and plenty go there

Finally, it seems to be quite important to discuss what people wore, so in the interests of full disclosure I wore a shirt, blue trousers and cowboy boots (spent last year in the USA). I also wore a schoffel, sorry, but maybe it doesn't count as I've never been shooting, don't own any land, and drive a Seat? Its just comfy, don't be hater
