A worrying trend

Those "pawned" sites will tell you that ANY site has been compromised.... then they will ask you to download spurious "stuff".
I checked a dormant web address I own.....its been vacant since 2017....... guess what similar "result".
As soon as anyone says "I have all the latest technical defences" and posts stuff like that you kind of know they are out of their depth.

I have all of the defence I need, in fact this site is in itself being tracked on a regular basis, I have the details, but it seems you are unable to post on here just as a matter of letting you know, all the experts suddenly jump out of the midden to have a go , for whatever reason.Enough said,I just hope that what I posted proves to be right, and someone will suffer the consequences. It's that closed shop thing?.

ughhh why? I think you need to take a step back and a deep breath. Clive was only showing you the security regarding these forums and also supplying you with some useful information.

But if you really want to go down the route of "mightier than thou", you are using a "Russian" antivirus the UK and US governments have deemed a security risk and banned from use on thier own systems.

As the saying goes "A little knowledge....."
What an idiot, I have posted videos on here,if I wanted to post a picture I would, and can. Take a look at the upside down pictures posted by members on here. You are typical of someoe who will go off subject, and knock someone with a made up comment.

So your telling me, your computer is protected by a number of good security systems against all types of potential online threat which means you must have a fair level of IT knowledge yet you can't post a picture on an internet forum... o_O
Not bad for a moderator, if you know I have a problem posting a picture, why did you not let me know?. Moderators have control over a lot on a site, your comment doesn't surprise me.

agree :)

please no one put your email address in that site linked for christ sake !

Another moderator knocking someones post, funny how I am getting all these idiotic replies from them, I posted information as a kind of let you know information,my email has supposed to have been hacked, I never followed it up in case it was a hack site in itself, but the author of the information is well respected in his field, contact him if you have issues, I am very surprised how many members on here have jumped on the post and seemingly think I have done the report.
So much for your depression support, I hope you are all feeling very satisfied now.

Mightier than though, not me, you need to read Clive's replies in more depth, especially as a moderator. I could show you the security threat that the site has . But I won't , not to get all that muck throwing.

seriously ! I do have half a clue about the internet and site security, what I don't know I pay very smart people to look after here.

you do not want to be entering your details into the links posted in your post

there is something wrong with your PC or you are trying to collect email address from our members

get a reputable anti- virus / malware, spyware cleaner (Norton or Windows defender etc) on your PC and run it as a matter of urgency and stop taking advice from hacker blog websites like the one linked in yior post !
I have not taken advice from the hacker sites, I did not follow it through as stated on here, got all the reputable software on my computer, it was just a post to make people aware of the sites suggestions , didn't expect all of the backlash, and stupid remarks.

I think you will find @Clive is the owner of the site, not a moderator (y)

Out of interest, what mythical software does this guy have, I feel dirty enough just watching RT and variouspornographies.ru

Being serious for a second, I do think people should be advised to:

A buy a bondafide (and keep updated) and decent AV suite. Norton is just one.

B. install all the necessary extensions in their internet browser- ghostery and do not track for starters. Plus web of trust.

C. actually use a secure browser (and keep it updated).

None of the above is worth a damn unless they are kept updated.

I also have an email account from a free provider than I use specifically for spam catching, with it set to automatically delete all mail every 30 days. Saving my real email addresses for actual emails.

Can you post evidence of all your claims of tracking etc? Just taking your word for it isn't going to be enough for most people. Clive has posted evidence of the security of this site.
