A worrying trend

:banghead: you post one thread on a niche topic you can't back up with evidence and expect everyone to believe you, then get all surprised when a lot of people (at least 1 software engineer included) don't agree with you....

Told you I have the evidence, don't expect anyone on here to believe me , I found that out, closed shop of owner, moderators, etc, and you seem the biggest mouthpiece who talks for all.

Doesn't matter , it is obvious I am not welcome on this site, pity really I was enjoying most of it.

You are very welcome but please listen to the good advice of EVERY single reply in this thread

You have rubbish AV software and have posted links to a very suspicious website site that appears to be trying to harvest email - the very issues you warming against

There is absolutely no issue with the security of this website. I know this as I own the place and have had additional checks made by very qualified professionals to be sure within moments of you starting this thread.

And I suggest you do check your pc very with some REPUTABLE (not Russian) software as something really doesn’t sound right with it

You 'said' you have evidence but you haven't shown anyone said evidence... I would heed Clive's advice in the post above.

My first 2 replies to this thread actualy show evidence - Norton safe web report as safe

How do you “prove” that a problem doesn’t exist anyway ?

I’m not trying to argue with you, we are trying to help you as it looks like your pc is not secure, please avoid online banking and other sensitive stuff until you have had it fully checked by someone qualified to do so

I forgot Norton could even do that. Wish they would roll out that extension to other browsers.

I never used to get on with Norton as it was very resource heavy and slowed down pc’s badly

Have to say it’s really good now though and I use it on all devices inc my iPhone with their VPN on public wi-fi

Funny enough my mobile comes up with some news headlines on a a regular basis (where from christ knows) and not normally in the habit of reading them but, brexit and all that, had a look earlier and @Loner story was a headline at the time along with giant sharks etc., just checked to verify and its gone, plenty politics and sharks (funny that) that were there earlier than the hacker story but its been pulled without trace and now phil's rollover is the main headline.

Not saying click the links just saying i did see that headline earlier.

I have all of the defence I need, in fact this site is in itself being tracked on a regular basis, I have the details, but it seems you are unable to post on here just as a matter of letting you know, all the experts suddenly jump out of the midden to have a go , for whatever reason.Enough said,I just hope that what I posted proves to be right, and someone will suffer the consequences. It's that closed shop thing?.

No closed shop in my world, I`m just a TFF member same as most of the folk.
All websites use cookies, all websites & forums are "tracked" in some way shape or form. Data is money these days.
The "pawning" you alleged is sourced from a very dubious website that convinces the easily led that a site has been "hacked".
Folk have provided evidence of the site security and offered you advice, yet you say it is obvious you are not welcome?
Can`t help those who won`t help themselves.

Mightier than though, not me, you need to read Clive's replies in more depth, especially as a moderator. I could show you the security threat that the site has . But I won't , not to get all that muck throwing.

As i said you need to take a step back and a deep breath, your follow up posts came across quite agressive you got triggered by clive's passive helpful reply why? who knows? :scratchhead:

With regards to your view on the site being unsafe I will lean on my 20 years experience of working as an IT Technician, majority of that time spent in a security sensitive environment to make my decision. (y)

This is the link for the source of information to all of this.
I have spent time looking through a long list on his site.

One of the places listed as being hacked is in the Lake District, it has details of many
accounts who have used the site, this site is a well known holiday cottage rental site.

Another site is for anyone who is interested in or owns a Hunter horse, again all of the details for accounts etc have been taken and published on the internet.

There are many other sites related to Agriculture or any other sort of industry, all have had their customer information stolen and published.

The mistake people are making on here is that they think my own personal details have been taken from my own computer, when in fact it has been taken from a site I visited, along with many others, just like this site has customer details on it.
And I for one do not know what use other than my bank or card details to anyone ,and I do not use it online?.

As for security, I would never use Norton or McFee brands ,and that is because they have
flaws in their computer data.

Link :www.troyhunt.com/

This is a link from the above site that lists some of those sites that have had their information stolen .

( The post on the forum referenced "a collection of 2000+ dehashed databases and Combos stored by topic" and provided a directory listing of 2,890 of the files which I've reproduced here. This gives you a sense of the origins of the data )
___________________________________________________________________

Make your own minds up after viewing the above,I am going to continue looking at the whole list as it is obvious that the sites hacked are worldwide and I could have used any of them, and you could have too.

Again did you go on the actual website, because I have only just posted the actual link, read the list . you might recognize one you have used.
Also I am just a TFF member, evidence has been provided by FOLK , but that evidence is not relevant to the site I have mentioned,a lot of armchair experts then.

I never use online banking,my pc is secure. If you read my latest post it says that I have not been hacked directly on my compute r( which people on here seem to think ) they have got the information from a site I have visited, and that is a big problem when a site is hacked and customer information is stolen.
