I utilise the village Parish Council meeting as the "only communist in the village" is great fun, at the moment i am suggesting more social housing in the village.. on the upside we know the new defibrillator works
I can't see us agreeing politically, but we seem to share a similar sense of humour...

Not much humour in my Parish Council... just ultra right nimbyism driven by a fear of poor people and immigrants (neither of which live in our area)

Funniest one was me flying the hammer and sickle at my road end during the last jubilee celebration thing....

Confuses the hell out of them when they ask if i want JC in power and i say no...

I live in a social housing area with a drug dealer as a neighbour, an alcoholic, single mothers, broken marriages and immigrants.

Try getting spat on, violence, Ketamine addiction .. you're clueless.

9+ years of dealing with people who cannot even be bothered to put their rubbish in a bin .. clean warm flats destroyed by violent drug addicted young people.

Single mothers who won't even teach their off spring to talk ..

The Parish Council are correct .. far better to have private tenants who are responsible for their environment in which they live .. so they don't live like pigs.

Not reading my posts correctly i was supporting a planning application that included social housing and suggested that there should be a larger social housing element to the planning application.
