Non genuine dewalt batteries

Bought a couple of cheap Chinese copies off eBay. Had one around 4years and the other about a year after and they are still going strong.
They have probably lasted longer than the originals.
 
You will find that the memory of the battery will not be as good as genuine. So they will work fine but at some point will not hold charge as when new. How many charge/discharge cycles they last for is a lottery with the spurious batteries. Usually find eBay periodically do deals that make genuine cost effective.

It seems to be a hit or miss I very disappointed with original dewalt batteries bought an other 2 original , no better so bought 2 made in China no brand name types thats them out lasted the 4 Dewalt and still working fine Buggered if I remember the seller .

I almost always would but I can't get 2 generic batteries for less than the price of one genuine so it's quite tempting!
we have genuine ones 4ah over 6 years old used a lot and still as good as the day we got them for that reason i would not buy anything other than genuine ones,These came direct from Dewalt for evaluation with impact wrench and that has been faultless,The Hitachi was absolute rubbish we had before
