Sadly no, looks like 3wk conception is 72%, submission of 97%
Incalf rate of 71% for those who like that sort of thing.
All bar 2 calving in 6wks.

That's my hfr group.
Sexed on cows was either 53% or 56% I don't remember exactly.
Hfrs are Cogent 4M mostly.
Cows were the semex version.

Some people have said sexcel has been good others have said it been a disaster. We did sync and sexed once never again.

I think if you move forward your start date by 4 or 5 days and do sexed for the first week/10 days, that way even if it's a disaster you haven't completely messed up your breeding season.

That’s I was thinking of doing. However if you have a very severe criteria on what cows are deemed suitable then this doesn’t really work.

But even if you only get between 10 and 20% of your total to sexed at that stage and you get 60% conception, it's a nice start to get with heifer calves.

Apparently dairy farms seldom use one,sheep farmers never use one and arable farmers spend all day using one as they have feck all to do for most of the year!
