Could a ewe that lost her lambs last Saturday night or sun morning be alright to foster on to now. 2 sets of trips in a row and no singles in sight. Cheers

There is a bit of milk on her, worth a go I suppose. Never skinned a lamb or know how to either.
Imagine how overalls would look. Easiest way but messiest is a hatchet/axe and taken the legs off halfway and the neck/head off. Pull the skin off the meat and voila, fit over the next lamb.

One of my ewes had a single born dead.Ileft the dead lamb in her pen waiting for a triplet birth. 6days later skinned dead lamb, put skin on biggest triplet, ewe thought a miracle had happened, only problem was the ewe would not let the lamb out of her sight, had to tie her up for a couple of hours for the lamb to suckle.

6 days later? You’re a braver man than me. I guess the skin would peel off easily though.....

Not if they are like my ewes.... some of them won't accept a foster even when they haven't seen their own lamb and are fostered on straight away... meanwhile the ones that rush round the shed wanting to mother everything are the ones that drop 3's

All depends on the maternal need of the ewe. I know certain breeds are deemed better general mothers than others, but the maternal craving varies individually. I've marked & recorded ewes that readily accept & are successful at taking a foster. When they come in I'll spray a special mark on her just in case.
