Running short of time though. If it's veto'd then it's either a deal or no deal on the 29th. I can see Italy doing it as there is a large movement to get out of the EU there and those folk hold the power at the mo. The UK leaving would set a precedent that it is possible.

There's a lot of bad blood within the EU against Juncker, Macron & Juncker and also against the UK.

Will be interesting to see what happens.

Hmm... my gut tells me that the EU will allow an extension for a hefty price, financial, trade / fishing etc., or both... Orban is probably posturing for more cash or some such.

I dislike Orban, he is very close to being a fascist in many ways but, although I wouldn't shake his hand, I'd be very glad if he were to veto an extension.

However, it wouldn't surprise me if the Remainer MPs - a majority, remember - were to vote to revoke Art. 50... they really do seem to have that much contempt for their electors.

Edit: then again, if they won't vote for another referendum, maybe they wouldn't. Probably just water down Brexit as much as possible.

Good to see you back @Pasty.

Yes I think that would give some just cause.

All down to timing I guess because May would still want to try her deal .. in fact I guess they probably would do her deal rather than revoke.

Revoke probably would cause serious problems in the general election ?

I don't mind anything as long as it causes maximum political damage to Liberals & Socialists who IMHO are showing anti democratic tendancies and have IMHO for some time.

Do politicians ever really pay. A lot seem to end up on tv or as after dinner speakers. Look at Ed Balls, Micheal Portillo er al.
I think there will be a third go at Mays deal , which might sneak through next week.

That's entirely possible . then the world has gone mad .
