is Raymond's father and Martan father brothers ?

I think so, certainly look alike.
Raymond featured in one of the highland show episodes with Mel & Martin where he was introduced as Martins cousin only for Martin to go and beat him with his sole Charolais entry;)

The Shetland lasses are doing a grand job, hard going on the island, I think they have our old class combine saw it in the background we shipped it there over 15 years ago,
Raymond could have his own daytime show he is right laugh,

When lambing outside why would you put sheep in such a large field, I would fence it off into small paddocks make catching that sheep a lot easier,

Roll on later in the year for the next episodes
Mis-mothering will be less common, not needing to feed them leading to less mis-mothering.
It's as much bother to catch a ewe in a 2 acre field as it is in a 22 acre field IMO, as in the small field you disturb all the sheep.

Like you, my hat is off to the girls, they are the stars of the show for me. I cant help but admire their focus and shear grit!

Raymond is quite entertaining. :)

I think it's a fantastic series and hats off to everyone involved.I wouldn't want the camera's capturing what I do on the farm so well done to all, especially the Shetland girls as it couldn't have been easy after losing their Dad.Brilliant programme.

Very good to see younger people at the coal face as well. A much brighter representation of the industry than you might find elsewhere, by portraying the realities of the job.
