Tonights vote

The Speaker has apparently ruled that the Government can not reintroduce the same motion that has already been defeated twice, citing convention from 1604.
I suppose the key question is will Bercow adopt a similar approach in regards to a "peoples vote" etc given that has already been rejected by a large margin by the House.

As has been raised in the House of Commons.

Some of the "Indicative Votes" have been put to Parliament Twice already.

Therefore according to the "Speaker" those motions should not be put forward for voting on again unless they are substantially changed.

Except .. he's allowed them again.

Welcome to @Bomber_Harris 's democracy .. eeeeeee awwwwwww !

I wonder if we can impeach the Speaker ? Where is the UK Mueller when you need one.

That very subject was discussed at length in parliament yesterday. Suggest you have a look at Hansard today, rather than here, and get the official answer.

Thought the first day was always billed as a wheat from chaff day.
Guessing Clarke and Beckett motions going forward to monday with modifications.........unless we just get chucked out by the EU tomorrow.
Bearing in mind that both were 100 plus abstentions or non votes anyways.
That said.
Clarke motion is a plan of sorts.
Becket motion is just procedure after a plan is agreed.

Good old House of Commons. They can't build consensus around anything, they don't won't Mrs Mays deal. They are leading us to no deal Brexit by default.

What a bunch of utterly useless plonkers.
