the set up of the websites usually involve more than one country and often are hiding the registration details so it can be difficult to get the host servers to remove the scam websites
Not sure about this, or even if it should be here. I have been receiving E Mails purporting to be from AVG re a subscription payment failure. Thing is, I dont remember any such subscription, and the failed payment was attempted on a card which is three years out of date.

Do not click on a link sent by a vendor......I did and lost £8200 .
I thought I was paying into PayPal but it was a bogus link.
Fraud squad are snowed under with agricultural machinery scamming.
The Teleporter I thought I was buying was 'sold' 44 times in a 2 hr window.
My dad used to say ...if it looks to good to be true then leave it alone !

Also.... if the vendor mentions being in the Isle of Man then leave well alone !

yes I’ve seen websites for cars ,bikes,boats campers before you name it they scam it a lot are from the same scammers as most the scam plant websites

My full-time job is recovery of stolen funds associated with authorised push payment fraud. The money is recovered from banks, usually once it has been demonstrated that money laundering and/or payment services regulations were breached.
I’ve been approached by the BBC with regard to a programme feature currently being made about farmers who have fallen victim to online vehicle fraud, probably non-existent tractors but also other plant and machinery used on farms. If you are a victim and paid by bank transfer please get in touch. Can’t promise anything but this kind of publicity often leads to full refunds so that the bank in question saves face.
Any loss incurred after 2014 qualifies for an investigation.

This was first posted on EVSA back in October.
Same scam attempted on 06-Apr-19 by same scammers, no doubt.
Reported to eBay by multiple EVSA members
As of Sun 21-Apr-19 this eBay listing had 262 watchers. Not good, obviously.
