going to give this another go as the last thread was removed.
I have a site with no power that needs either cameras or means of security. Not massively worried about equipment but all suggestions gratefully recieved!

Dont know for sure, would have been good to get an explanation or warning but we are guests in someone else’s game and they make the rules.
Can you remember the name of your old thread and where you posted it? I cant see why a thread on farm/yard security would have been deleted especially without an explanation. Ill investigate and see what I can find.

Dogs definitely a Circassian shepherd will make people think twice

Solar power systems or wind power to creat power
Solar power flood lights
Motion sense cameras

Even just a few signs of dogs etc can change people's view's

Sorry no. But there was about 3-4 pages that were there and then they weren’t. There was a bit of generic traveller bashing but can’t see that being a problem? It was end of December if that helps.

Slightly off topic, but been looking for some big f**k off floodlights. The sort that would illuminate football pitches. Searching on Google just brings up piddly stuff.
Any ideas ?

Friends has PIR system that texts him if folk go beyond a certain point on some outlaying land he has. Not sure of the power source though, think he has electric to a shed. Its very discreet and easy to set up and he doesn`t get false alarms as anyone who has gone that far is up to no good........... or forgot to tell him they were going.:whistle:

Took these down a couple of years ago and haven't got round to putting them up round the yard, could be seen for miles around apparently.

Fudging fudge! Got broken into last night at 9 fudging 20 - they stole the battery that powers the alarm & ripped the wiring out of the alarm to shut it up. I didn't spot the message on my phone until later because it was on silent :banghead::banghead::banghead:

A few geese would turn your neighbours into security staff! Anything to shut them up! You could get a fair few phone calls though.
