Crazy. The mortgage on that place with a 30% deposit would only work out at about £150/acre. My neighboring farm will be on the market next month, a snip at £6.5mil for 360 acres.

As far as I've heard the man who bought this keept his last farm as well, now has 2 very big spots

He is one of the top swale breeder's. The tale I heard was second hand, but I was led to believe that it was true.

I know both farms, Castle Clanyard will be difficult to sell and although Several will be decent would doubt if it would make the asking price

Clanyards a dump will never make asking. Still think Several will make over, much better area than likes of Cronan which is tidy.
