Not sure what made me look at this, but our dairymaster was set at 200g/min, ive just moved it up to 300 and will wait a while now, but this seemed very low!

Seemed to be waiting for cows all the time.

This is the default setting
Needs to be 500 or above and acr needs to pull off as soon as this level is reached

Need someone to check my maths, fullwood (afimilk) meters work on a system that it pulls off at a set time if they meter isn’t filled,
The meter is 200mls
My delay is now 23seconds which With my maths 60seconds divided by 23 = 2.6 x 200mls is 531ml take off can anyone confirm if my thinking is correct

We don't have much mastitis and they are milking like trains, probably about the the limit of twice a day.

Just seem to have quite A few where we are waiting and I kind of want to take the unit off.

Dairymaster dealer very surprised I wanted to change it, told me to wait a more before another change!

I think dairy masters pulsation system is said to never be able to over milk a cow?

My parlour is set at 900ml/min for 2x milking. It was set at 500 when i bought it. We did a measurement when milking and we had much overmilking before adjusting. Measured again at 800 and decided to up it a little more.
We adjusted it 100ml/week for 4 weeks,
For 3x milking i think i would set it at about 1200ml, i know others who have.
Yield was not affected and cell count dropped. Milking time was cut from about 6,5 min to 5,3 min average.
We have about 34 liter/day average. We average just over 12 liters on the first 120 seconds.
