At least it was only the pin - if it's the one I'm thinking of, it can break a lug off the casting too if you're unluckyA pin broke in the head stock of the plough so I have to fix that first.

What make of tyres did you go for?View attachment 784862 View attachment 784866 View attachment 784870 Ploughing today with the new tyres on. Major difference in pulling power now.
Yeah stamped, usually around where the inner dish joins the outer rim or just outside the ring of bolt holes, depends on wheels....tho somebody could have swapped the rims too.Stamped in? They're a bit rusty but I'll take a look, thank you
HI
Random 6610 question, I've just bought a ratty old one, I need to top up the transmission oil. I rang the local agricultural supplier but apparently there are 2 types depending on year. It has no reg and I'm struggling to find a model number
what I can find:
Left side of engine: E6 NN 6015-CD
Right side of engine (stamped) SE261512
Plate in cab: B521133
On right side of transmission: E0NN7006GB
Does any of this hint at a year?
Thank you
Matt

Not heard of that make before. They look good from the pictures.I went with Cultor as that's what the local tyre man seems to be pushing at the minute . I'm happy with them so far
They are a Mitas brandNot heard of that make before. They look good from the pictures.

I'm not a Ford man but a neighbour had a 6610 like that, 1985 but H pattern colum change, rubic cube was before that.Tried to add a picture , it has the rubic gear change
Early to mid 80s at a guess, are you on facebook ? Theses some good ford groups, someone more ford nerdy than me would probably be able to date your tractor down to which shift on a particular day on a certain month of a certain year from your serial number !!!Tried to add a picture , it has the rubic gear change
Serial number should be on the bell housing on the right hand side of the tractor.
