aargghhh! Horrible eggy burps for three days. Don’t feel bad, eating normally but boy do they stink.

Anyone have recommendation for remedies?

Thanks All

try basic things like bicarb or indigestion tablets (own brand Wilko etc).

Watch what your eating. Things like excess fruit/dried fruit, spices etc all make these things worse I find this is usually connected to IBS. So any IBS tablet helps too.

Try a diet thats very basic but no extremes.

I get this occasionally along with other gut issues. Mushy peas, brassicas, too much bread may all contribute. Settles down for me after a while with indigestion tablets but I'm already on reflux tablets so have to be a bit careful what else I take.

Thanks for the responses. I avoided ‘different’ foods like you suggested and have now settled down. Had them before after scoffing a pack of cashews and someone told me it was protein that encourages it.

Old thread revitalised, good timing. Had a Thai last night (food for those with their mind in the gutter!) and eggy burps this morning. Two peptobismol tabs and good to go.
