One of these would tick so many boxes for me, I’d love to buy one, it’s even British but it’s going to have to be 4 wheel steer, why isn’t this an option and is it ever likely to happen?

I wondered why it isn’t 4 wheel steer. Must be some thing to do with the size of axle or different tyre size not being compatible with all wheel steering. Shame as it would be a weapon. Not the best steering with out it I imagine.

Massive thing. There’s been one here this last week bedtilling for carrots. It’s like turning a boat around and exactly why it’s not mass market. Also been a JD 8000R on another bedtiller and it’s much better for that job. They had a 4220 on a ridger and it was a much better all rounder.

The 8000 series Fastracs are best left to the slurry contractors with massive tankers injecting.

We had one for a few days on demo last autumn. I think it’s a superb bit of kit but only having 2ws makes it highly unsaleable in my view.

The contractor that was here has a number of fastracs and he told me that JCB were working on extending the 4000 series line up to 250hp and 300hp so maybe have a word with your dealer.

Case had 4 wheel steering on 350 + hp tractors in the 80's with the 94 series & again in the 90's with the red row crop Steigers

Not that you'd be running those up & down public roads at 40km / hr though . . .

Was a contractor in with a 8330 and a forage wagon doing a neighbours silage. If they can get in and out his gates and round his yard they'll go anywhere!

Tractors meant to chipped and slip clutch on forage wagon solid! He certainly shifted some grass in a day.

That’ll be the same one that likes to twist the pto shaft of the forage wagon into a knot.

A lot of similar sized tractors will out yank a 936 as they arent as heavy as the green or red offerings and had a shorter wheelbase historically.

A cant remember what difference there was in wheelbase between 8330 and 936 when i had them they were both shorter than my T8, a personaly think the 8000 fastrac are an very acquired taste of tractor either love them or hate them
