3m disc and packer hp requirement

looking at these 3 m discs and packers that are selling like hot cakes on the welsh grants , what hp would you need to drag it at a good speed?, as most of the people buying a set aren't going to get them out the shed as keep the profit and sell in 5 years, or lot haven't got the hp to drag them !!!

It's not the HP it's the lifting capacity that seems to be the important bit. Ours is 1700kg on a valtra n141 with 450 kg on the front and it's on it's limit because the weight of the packer is so far back. Good payer though!

welsh small grant scheme, list of items and get standard cost and claim a grant, with the discs they put a grant of 11,600 and they can be bought for 6250 upwards, so buy a nice shiny discs and pocket 5 k !!!

Welsh farm business grant where they pay 40% of their estimate of what the item should cost. Quite a bit of wriggle room on a min till cultivator

A quick Google reveals that the last window for grant applications ended on 12th - April 2019, was this the last window ?

He’s got one sat in the yard,probably hire it for peanuts.

I have a 3 mt and on lea ground at speed it take all of 170 to be comfortable . Discs need to be travelling at 15 km to work right.
