winter barley, orns are just coming out, is it ok to spray axial pro to kill the wild oats? ogronomist says its ok, on the product label it says spray before growth stage 41, crops at growth stage 49

Thats quite a long way past GS 41. There could be a reason why it doesnt want spraying on the barley awns/ear.

Latest timing on the label is flag leaf sheath extending and your suggesting wait till the ear is fully emerged??

Someone mentioned to me they thought axial had “hotted up” since syngenta removed our liberty to add adigor ourselves ....
Get done ASAP. You don't really want it on the ear if possible. There's a reason the cut off is that.

Probably specific to your farm really- with us wild oats germinate _really_ late on and I have go out as a separate mix as late as I dare. There is literally not a trace of them one day and the next there they are above the canopy shutting f*ck you at me !

its not made it any cheaper..
Yes and remember original Axial has to be used up by 30th June.
