winter barley, orns are just coming out, is it ok to spray axial pro to kill the wild oats? ogronomist says its ok, on the product label it says spray before growth stage 41, crops at growth stage 49

Thats quite a long way past GS 41. There could be a reason why it doesnt want spraying on the barley awns/ear.

Should be ok.
Someone mentioned to me they thought axial had “hotted up” since syngenta removed our liberty to add adigor ourselves ....:nailbiting:

Get done ASAP. You don't really want it on the ear if possible. There's a reason the cut off is that.

Tread very carefully with axial pro, I no of 2 farms who have all but destroyed 100 acres of w barley, it was applied with ccc back when it was cold, about mid April I think. Crops look like they have hormone damage
