I have a car dealer friend who buys cars for me out of Blackbushe auctions, he stated this law to me and the link I put up was a first google search. Whatever any agricultural dealer may say any magistrates bench will interpret the car job straight over as applicable to farm tractors and machinery with the right representation.

Sadly that won’t work either as it would still be being used for business should it ever go to court..... say his grandad bob buys it then gives it to Elliot. He then uses it to make money.... a judge isn’t stupid and would claim. It business use
Not arguing back just pointing out you're wrong! A dealer can sell a tractor with what ever warranty is agreed between the buyer and themselves !
Plenty of people own tractors that are not used for business purposes.
You are part right ,we had a problem with a trailer, dealer was going to do nothing until, I called a lawyer and he spoke to the dealership and they called back and could not have been more helpful
