Is Brexit dead .

I don't think Brexit is dead. I think No Deal is now more likely than ever. Remain MPs are running out of friends (other than the BBC and a few others) and more importantly, running out of voters.
If the torys have a new leader ,no deal is very much on the cards

Will be interesting to observe if Johnson (as it looks inevitable the rural shires blue rinse Tories will eventually get their man) has any more luck than May. I suspect not and then it will be really amusing to see him fumbling about (just as May has and is) in October. All the time Farage as he is not in power (and more importantly not in parliament) will be lording it around like the Popinjay he seems to be. Such fun. Oh Jonathon Swift would have had such fun writing about this, it is so much reminiscent of 18C politics.

(Although she was pretty hard-hearted at home when I got a cut, graze etc., neat alcohol or witch hazel** went straight on and that smarted, I can tell you!)

**I don't come across witch hazel any more, but I recall that everyone used it when I was a kid. :scratchhead:

Our family go-to graze cleaner was always Chloro-Iodine . Ouch. Many tears were shed when that was applied.

In appearance similar to teat dip but I believe that is a "Tamed Iodine" version.

I'd forgotten iodine!

A couple of times - when my mother wasn't there - my father used gentian violet on me... very hard to disguise and she really was not happy with him when she saw it. Happy days... :ROFLMAO:

We were running out of oil 50 years ago , now they can't give it away .

Well I’ll take any that they want to give away.

Most medicinal iodine was white, we used lots of it when I was a kid including just after I left school and had two ring worm circles come up on my arse, applying iodine to them made it smart a bit
