Hi, I'm looking for a field to rent long term in any condition to plant trees and/or keep geese between 3 and 5 acres in size for a period of 3 to 5 years. Also if you're looking for help on the farm I can help out full clean driving license and 15 years landscaping skills

Trees take longer than 3- 5 years to grow and permanent features may put off some landowners in rentals?

Given the mention of landscaping skills my guess is samplings to grow on and sell as specimen trees, would be my guess... If that is the case it might cause all sorts of headaches for the owner, it might trigger a change of use from agriculture. Change of use may remove SFP eligibility, change the position on inheritance tax relief and it might need considerable remedial work to return it to agriculture at the end of the tenancy. With all respect I can't see you getting many responses without you giving away a bit more on what you are looking for, what you intend to do with it and where you intend to do it, we can be a cynical bunch here on TFF when in the dark...
