Dog Walkers

I have done this for a prision officers dog as she was struggling to find anywhere for "training". It certainly keeps me and other dog walkers out of the area whilst she is doing the training. Would hate to be a prisioner on the end of it.

Just bear in mind the non farming implications for IHT if you go down any formal route.

per person is that, as its nowhere near covering the rent otherwise :wideyed:
Lost in translation. I was implying some people are prepared to pay £8-12/hr to let Fido run around with out having to worry. Average two people/day more on weekends and all of a sudden £80 bps isn't all that significant.
I'm obviously not taking into account any capital expenditure on infrastructure just thinking of potential revenue.

Maybe not relevant to your situation as it's a group of people wanting to use the land as if they own it for free but there is possibly scope for someone else. Even I would be tempted.

re the dog name entry . I read about a couple of classic scholars who bought a pair of pups . she, being of a very classical turn of mind wanted to call them "Castor " and "Pollux" . Husband very firmly vetoed that idea , he said he wouldn't mind calling for Castor to come in out of the garden at bed time , but no way was he going to stand at the back door in the evening shouting for the other !

£25 per dog walker a month, you police by with a coded lock on the gate and changing the code each month, email the new code when they’ve paid

Just remember to write a few risk assessments, inform your insurer and maybe give one of the dog walkers a discount in exchange for snitching on the non payers.

They'd have to pay £25 for only two or three trips to another venue. It ought to be £25/ dog/ week for free access .
Although in this situation I'd be inclined to let the lot to the syndicate on a monthly bases rather than individuals to save policing. Then it's up to them to manage money and numbers themselves. And use the key code lock to block access.

Many years ago, unbeknown to me at the time, our vet had a dog called bollox. I only found out when one day he was down the field in his car and the dog got out. I thought his reaction was a bit extreme as he frantically yelled the dogs name repeatedly.
